Fort Clatsop Book Club March Selection:

Author Stephenie Ambrose Tubbs will join us at our March meeting to discuss her book Why Sacagawea Deserves the Day Off. In essays historical and personal, she revisits the Lewis and Clark Trail and its famous people, landmarks, and events, exploring questions the expedition continues to raise.

Hello Fort Clatsop Supporters!

Thank you for your support of Lewis and Clark National Historical Park. We rely on your store purchases and annual memberships to keep the Fort Clatsop Bookstore operating and ensure every visitor to the park makes a great memory.

One of our new membership benefits this year is the Fort Clatsop Book Club. You don't need to sign up on the Bookclubs.com app; you can just join the Zoom call or show up at the Fort Clatsop Visitor Center on Sunday, March 9, at 2pm (free admission!). Joining the online book club gains you access to chat, files, advance meeting notices and transcripts of our exclusive author content.

We meet monthly, in person at the Fort Clatsop Visitor Center where LCNPA provides tea cookies in the Netul Room and an opportunity to socialize with fellow book lovers. We also meet online via Zoom with a big screen and projector.

I'm excited to discuss Why Sacagawea Deserves the Day Off with you! Author Stephenie Ambrose Tubbs will join us (via Zoom) to answer your questions and talk about this book at our March meeting, so now is the time to get your copy and start reading.

Our next meeting is Sunday, March 9, at 2pm. We will be meeting in person at the Fort Clatsop Visitor Center Netul Room in Astoria, Oregon, and online via Zoom with the author:
